Greek Goddess Gourmet was born in a sunlit kitchen in Athens, where I spent countless hours cooking beside my mother, Katina. She taught me to trust my instincts, cook with love, and always use real, fresh ingredients. (That's a picture of us in Greece.)

She named me Demetra, after the Greek Goddess of the Harvest, a symbol of nourishment, abundance, and care. That name, once a blessing, now feels like destiny.

As a chef and a mother, I carry her spirit into everything I create. Greek Goddess Gourmet was born from my passion for reimagining the flavors of my childhood, using pure, simple ingredients to nourish my loved ones, and now, yours too. Every batch is a tribute to my mother’s kitchen, where food was never just food but a way to show love. 

Our journey began with Harvest Blend, our first flavor, and a return to those early days. Warm, grounding, and full of the wholesome ingredients my mother believed in. 

Then came Maple Oat, a simpler twist on the original, with the comforting, nostalgic flavor of whole grain oats, sweetened with coconut and maple syrup. Smooth, subtle, and modern, it reflects our evolution while honoring our roots. 

With Baklava Bliss, we came full circle. This flavor is my love letter to my mother and my heritage. Inspired by the sweet, spiced layers of the baklava she made each holiday, it is rich with roasted nuts, a drizzle of golden honey, and the fragrant warmth of cinnamon and clove. Indulgent yet true, nostalgic yet new, it captures the heart of everything Greek Goddess Gourmet stands for. 

With Cardamom Citrus, we pushed that inspiration even further. This flavor draws on two of my most beloved Greek desserts: melomakarona, the honey-soaked cookies of the holidays, and portokalopita, a vibrant orange-honey cake, both of which celebrate the beautiful pairing of orange and honey. I added cardamom to enhance and elevate those flavors within the granola, bringing warmth, brightness, and depth. My goal was to blend these bold and distinctive ingredients in a way that draws you in while still feeling balanced, so that no single flavor overpowers the others. For me, it brings me right back to the tastes and memories of my childhood. 

Each flavor tells a chapter of our story, rooted in tradition, crafted with care, and reimagined for modern life. Born in Greece. Made with love.
